About The Linie

The Linie is a Berlin-based, design-led object studio focused on antique, vintage and selected contemporary pieces. The collection centres on sculptural form, character and historical context. Sourced across Europe and East Asia, objects from different periods and traditions are brought together through a consistent curatorial eye.

About The Objects

Each object is chosen for its visual weight, material honesty and the way surfaces age through use. Clean forms sit alongside expressive detail, and sculptural presence is balanced with restraint. Together, these qualities shape the collection over time.

About The Founder

The Linie is founded and curated by Gigi Hung, a designer working across spatial, interior and graphic disciplines. Her experience spans luxury fashion, lifestyle and corporate projects, shaping a cross-disciplinary sensitivity to form, material and atmosphere.

Her interest in objects began early, through conversations with her grandmother about old things and their histories. That curiosity evolved into a sustained attention to the life objects carry through time and use.
