Product Information

Brutalist five-arm candleholder cast in solid bronze in Germany during the 1960s–70s, attributed to Horst Dalbeck. Formed as a single sculptural structure with branching arms rising from a central spine, characteristic of post-war German bronze casting.

Context

During the post-war decades, German metal workshops produced small-scale sculptural domestic objects in cast bronze, often associated with the Brutalist movement. Candleholders of this type reflect the period’s interest in raw material expression, weight, and organic geometry.
