Danish Pewter Polar Bear Figural Dish, Early to Mid 20th Century
Product Information
Danish pewter polar bear figural dish, marked Victoria Tin, estimated to date from the early to mid 20th century. The piece has a shallow dish form with a standing polar bear figure positioned to one side.
The simplified animal figure and plain functional bowl relate closely to Scandinavian Art Deco pewter, particularly the animal-form ashtrays and small dishes produced in Denmark during the early to mid 20th century.
The piece can be used as a decorative dish, coin dish, pin tray, or small desk object.
