Product Information
Japanese Takaoka cast copper-alloy flower vase, signed Shūgetsu / 秀月, Japan, Shōwa period, mid-late 20th century. The original wooden storage box is inscribed 鋳銅花瓶, meaning cast copper-alloy flower vase.
The vase is defined by its tall faceted form, clean vertical planes, and dark reddish-brown patinated surface. The colour moves between warm copper-brown and deeper almost black tones, giving the piece a quiet geometric rhythm.
