Kayserzinn pewter bee dish, model 4199, made in Germany around 1897–1900. An original Kayserzinn model, attributed to Hugo Leven.
Formed as an open flower, the dish has a softly lobed outline, with a central blossom and bees in relief. The restrained composition and clean form gives it a more sculptural reading than more heavily ornamented Art Nouveau tableware. It works well as a decorative tabletop dish, catchall, or display piece.
Height: 2.5 cm | Width: 22 cm | Depth: 21.3 cm | Weight: 0.58 kg
