Early 20th-century ceramic vase with a broad rounded body, twin loop handles and a deeply modelled band of recessed decoration beneath the rim. The compact, low form gives the piece an unusually strong silhouette.

A dark glaze catches the light with a subtle metallic sheen, giving the ceramic an almost metal-like appearance. The underside is numbered but unsigned.
