A small silver-plated shell ashtray, most likely made in England and dating to the mid-20th century, c. 1950s–1970s.
The ashtray has a scallop shell form with ribbed detail, a scalloped rim, and three integrated cigarette rests at the front edge. Raised on three small feet, it is originally used as an ashtray, but also works well as a small trinket dish or decorative tabletop piece.
