Three-arm forged iron candleholder, Germany, c. 1950s–70s. The piece has a blackened metal surface, substantial weight, and three circular candle dishes, each set with a central pricket spike.

The form is built from curling, ribbon-like forged metal arms rising from a wave-cut base. A taller central stem is flanked by two lower side arms, giving the candleholder a strong sculptural profile from both front and side views.

This is a functional pricket candleholder and a decorative metalwork object, with the expressive hand-formed structure carrying much of its visual strength.

Condition Notes

Good vintage condition overall. The blackened finish shows minor scratches, rubbing, and areas of oxidation consistent with age and use. The base and undersides show scratches and exposed metal, which are not visible when the candleholder is standing. The candle dishes show minor surface marks and light residue from previous use.
