A WMF metal pedestal tazza bowl, Germany, c.1909–1914.
The bowl has a wide flared body and three black spherical feet that raise the vessel above a low circular base, giving it a clean sculptural profile. Raised dotted clusters repeat across the body and rim, adding organic surface detail to the restrained metal form.
The decoration appears to have been punched or stamped from the outside of the bowl, creating raised dots on the visible surface. The underside bears WMF’s ostrich mark, used by the company in several versions during the early 20th century.
