Heiner Hans Körting Relief Ceramic Vase, Germany, c. 1960s
Product Information
A ceramic vase by Heiner-Hans Körting with a broad rounded grey-taupe body, narrow dark-glazed opening and a raised white relief that runs across the surface in wrinkled, fissure-like lines. The irregular linear pattern cuts across the full rounded volume, creating a strong contrast between curve and line while the grey, cream and brown palette remains restrained. This raised fissure-like relief is a recurring, recognisable characteristic of Körting workshop vessel ceramics.
